HAM LOAF

Here is a first grade item I bet you wont find in a Mexican restaurant!
A SOFT TACO By Jillian Bledsoe
1 tortilla
3 Scoops of salad
2 Scoops of orange chees
1 Scoop of beans
2 Scoops of tomatos
1 Scoops of sausage
1 Scoop of sower cream
Put the tortilla on the plate. And then put the sower cream on the tortilla and add salad to it. And add tomatos and add orange chees. And add beans and add sausage.

The Recipe

This recipe I got eons ago from good friend Ellen Sauer when she and hubby Phil were living in Dover, Ohio. Ellen got it from a June Benedum. This just tastes soooooo yummy! It makes M.E. salivate just THINKING about the recipe! Bet it has the same
effect on you!

1 1/2 lb. ground ham
1 lb. ground pork
1 c. milk
1 C. bread crumbs
2 eggs
Mix above together well. Form into loaf or loaves.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours for individual loaves or 2 hours for l large.
TOPPING:
1/4 C. rice vinegar
1/2 C. water
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 t. dry mustard

Whisk together well. Heat just enough to dissolve sugar.
Pour over loaf 1 hour before done. Baste every 10 minutes during that last hour of baking.

NOTE: June baked her large loaf in a covered blue roasting pan. m.e.
